Ich sehe mich selber nicht als Fotojournalist oder als “Einfanger von einzigartigen Momenten”, sondern als Gestalter von subtilen und spannungsvollen (Schein-)realitäten und Geschichten. Ich ziele dabei darauf ab, meine Geschichten mit häufig nur einem einzigen Bild in Schwung zu versetzen und es der Fantasie des Betrachters zu überlassen, wie sie sich weiterentwickeln könnte. Meine Bilder laden ein zum Träumen, zum Nachdenken und zum immer wieder Neues entdecken. Ich arbeite hart für meine Bilder und überlasse nichts dem Zufall. Mit viel Neugierde, Geduld und Offenheit suche ich immer wieder aufs Neue nach den Symbolen, Motiven, Mehrdeutigkeiten, verborgenen Weis- und Wahrheiten, welche das Leben uns schenkt und welche sich zu einer Geschichte verdichten lassen.
